A Quick Refresher -Sunnahs of Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad [PBUH]

What the Prophet Say :

It is said that when the angel of death is taking the rooh (soul) out of the body whom passes away....
it is a painful experience.

They say that when the dead awake on Qayaamat, the effect of the roohbeing taken out will still be there.

Therefore, ALLAH has told us to recite the Ayatul-Kursi after every Farz salaat and it is stated that whoever recites this, their rooh will be taken out as you would takeout a strand of hair from a pile of flour. How light would that feel, MashaAllah!

May Allah save us from any sort of pain and may He let us die with Imaan in our hearts and save us from the azaab.Aameen.

There is no word as beautiful as Allah. :-
No example as beautiful as Rasulallah(SAW), No lesson as beautiful as Islam, No song as melodious as Azan,
No charity as meaningful as Zakat, No encyclopaedia as perfect as Al-Quran, No prayer as perfect as Namaz,
No diet as perfect as fasting, No journey as perfect as Hajj.

This is most common among us, most of us talk during Azaan... Read this..

The Holy Prophet(SAW) said, Stop doing everything during the Azaan,
even reading the Quran, the person who talks during the Azaan will not
be able to say the Kalimah-e-Shahadat on his/her death bed...

8. Shaaban Sha'aban is the eighth month of the Islamic calendar. This is the month of ‘separation’, so called because the pagan Arabs used to disperse in search of water. On the fifteenth night of this month falls the Shab-i-Barat: ‘The Night of Records’; some people think that on this night Muhammad told his followers that Allah records all the deeds that the humans have to perform for the next year.[citation needed] However, there is no Quranic or Hadith evidence to support this.

Important Events :

15 Sha'aban (Mid-Sha'ban), birth of the twelfth Shia Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi.

9. Ramadan - The word Ramadan is derived from the word ramd "to burn". Fasting in the month of Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam. The month is spent fasting during the daylight hours from dawn to dusk. The name came from the time before the Islamic calendar, when the month of Ramadan fell in the summer. Fasting during this month is often thought to figuratively burn away all sins. Muslims believe that the Qur'an was sent down to the earth during this month. Furthermore, Muhammad (PBUH) told his followers that the gates of Heaven would be open all the month and the gates of Hell would be closed. The first day of the next month is spent in celebrations and is observed as the ‘Festival of Breaking Fast’ or `Eid ul-Fitr.

Important Events :

On 19 Ramadan, Imam Ali was injured by a sword.
On 21 Ramadan, Imam Ali was killed.
On 23 Ramadan, the Qur'an was bestowed on Muhammad. (In accordance with Shi'a Islam; according to Sunni Islam the date is unknown, but is in the last ten days of Ramadan)
Laylat al-Qadr (The Night of Destiny) is observed during one of the last five odd numbered days of the month. Muslims believe that this night is better than a thousand months. This is often interpreted as praying throughout this night is rewarded equally with praying for a thousand months. Many Muslims spend the entire night in prayer. According to Shi'a Islam this night is the 19th or 21st, or 23rd of this month, but according to the Sunni Sect this night is 21, 23, 25, 27 or 29.However,it is said the date would be kept "top secret" by Allah (God).

Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi (R.A)says that Sufism is founded on eight qualities, generosity, acquiescence, patience, symbolism, traveling (strange hood), woolen dress, pilgrimage hood and faqr (poverty).

- the generosity of Abraham (may blessings of Allah be on him), who offered his son for sacrifice;

- the acquiescence of Ishaq (may blessings of Allah be on him), who submitted to the command of Allah to give up his life;

- the patience of Ayub (may blessings of Allah be on him), who patiently endured the affliction of worms and the jealousy of the Merciful;

- the symbolism of Zakarriya (may blessings of Allah be on him), to whom Allah said,thou shalt speak to no man for three days but with signal.?(Q 3:41) and again to the same effect, Behold! He cried to his Lord in secret.?(Q 19:3):

- the traveling (strange hood) of Yahya (may blessings of Allah be on him), who was a stranger in his own country and an alien to his own kin;

- the wearing of wool by Moses (may blessings of Allah be on him), who wore woolen garment throughout;

- the pilgrimage hood of Jesus (may blessings of Allah be on him), who was so detached therein from worldly things that he kept only a cup and a comb. He threw away his cup when he saw a man drinking water through use of palms of his hands, and the comb likewise when he saw another man using his fingers to dress his hair;

- the poverty of Muhammad (peace be upon him), to whom Allah Almighty had given the keys of all the worldly treasures saying: "Lay no trouble on you, but procure every luxury by means of these treasures;?and he answered: "LLord, I desire them not, keep me one day full-fed and one day hungery.?
