This is beautiful dargah of Jaal Makan in Tumkur
this dargah is the most famous of all the dargahs in Tumkur.

Hazrath Syed Kareem Khadri (RA)" , Nijgal hills.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. Nahamdahu wo Nusalli wa 'ala Rasoolihil
Kareem Sal lallahu Alaihi wo Sallam.

Allahumma Salle 'ala Syedina wo Maulana wo Rahati Qulubina wo Shafiyaa
Zunoobina wo Tabiba Zaherana wo Batinana Mohammeddin wo 'Ala Alihi wo
Ashabihi wo Auliyahi wo Ummatihi bi Rahmatika ya Ar-Rahmar-Rahimeen
wal Hamdullillah hi Rabbil Alameen, Ameen.

'Ala inna Auliya Allahi la Qaufum Alaihim wa la hum Yahzanoon.

Place / City: Tumkur
District: Tumkur District
State: Karnataka State.

Tumkur is one of the most reputed places in Karnataka for many Auliyas
and their Dargah shareefs. Some of these Auliyas came from Baghdad
shareef and they are direct descendents of Qutb-ul-Aqtab,
Mahboob-e-Subhani, Ghaus-as-Saqalain, Peeran-e-Peer, Hazrath Shaikh
Abdul Qadhir Jeelani Al-Baghdadi (Rizwan allahi thaalahi alaihim
azjmaeen).

In Tumkur, a few kilometer from railway station, there is a burial
ground known as Jali ka Makan, where you will find famous Dargah
shareef of Hazrat Murtuza Qadri (Rahmatullahi Alaihi), who is
the younger son of Hazrath Mo'meen Qadri, is sitituated. This
Dargah claims to bear the most beautiful architectural structure in
entire Tumkur.

In Kesarmadu, a small village located in a few kilometer distances
from Tumkur, the most famous/sacred Dargah shareef of Hazrath Mo'meen
Qadri (Rahmathullahi Alaihi), his elder son and his wife is
located. Hazrath Mo'meen Qadri (Rahmathullahi Alaihi) is one
of direct descendents of Peeran-e-Peer, Hazrath Shaikh Abdul Qadhir
Jeelani Al-Baghdadi (Rizwan allahi Thaalahi alaihim azjmaeen )

In addition to the aforementioned Dargah shareef, there is also one
more Dargah shareef which is very famous in Tumkur is of Hazrat Allah
Allah Sa'in Auliya (Rahmathullahi Alaihi).

Nijgal ke pahad ki dargah is an oldest and attractive spot in Tumkur
located in a place known as Dawouspet on Bangalore-Tumkur highway.

Hazrath Syed Pacha Shah khadri (RA) . This dargah
is below the Nijgal hills.

1) It is famous for the Dargah shareef of two Auliyas namely Hazrath
Syed Pacha Shah Qadri (Rahmathullahi Alaihi). This Dargah is located
below the Nijgal pahad (hills).

Hazrath Syed Kareem Shah Khadri (RA), Nijgal Dargah

2) And the Dargah shareef of Hazrath Syed Kareem Shah Qadri
(Rahmathullahi Alaihi) – (This is known as Nijgal ke pahad ki Dargah
because the Mazar-e-Mubarak of the Auliya is located inside the hill
(gawi) of nijgal.

They are two brothers and it is said that these Auliyas have
sacrificed their lives for the cause of Islam.

It takes approximately 30 minutes to climb up on the hill. While
scaling up, one can realise that his/her breathing will go high and
pumping of heart will become speeder, which is one of the specialities
of this hill. The people who visit the Dargah can enjoy the tracking
of the hill while walking up to reach the hill. Insha ALLAH, you will
experience what I say here, when you visit this Dargah shareef. The
Mazar-e-Mubarak of Hazrath Syed Kareem Shah Qadri (Rahmathullahi
Alaihi) is located inside the hill (gawi)
itself and it appears very
marvellous. In order to do perform the Ziyarath, one has to bend
himself in gawi and have to reach the Mazar-e-Mubarak by wobbling
like a baby because the gawi's height itself is about only 3 feet and
no one can stand straight up.

It is quoted by people that Hazrath Syed Kareem Shah Qadri
(Rahmathullahi Alaihi) got Shahadat and came inside the hill where he
himself did his burial ceremony. Moreover, these two Auliyas used to
sit in Chilla (Khalwath) in these hills. As of today, people continue
to perform Fateha and Darood shareefs in this gawi Mubarak, Masha
ALLAH. The nijgal ke pahad ki dargah attracts a large number of people
from all walks of life.

I am also listing here rest of the famous Dargahs of Tumkur District
for your quick reference.

They are as follows:-

9) Hazrath Syed Khader Qadri (ra) urf Vali Baa
(Rahmathullahi Alaihi), Kesarmadu.

10) Hazrath Madhar Shah Makan (Rahmathullahi Alaihi).

About Tumkur: Tumkur is the headquarters of the district of the same
name. It is located to the North West of Bangalore at a distance of
70Km.City is in close proximity to Bangalore and has a decadal growth
of about 40% over the last few decades. The district is bounded by
Mandya District in the South; Chitradurga and Hassan districts in the
West; Chikkamangalore in the Northeast and Ananthapura District of
Andra Pradesh state in the Southeast direction.
This is a city surrounded by mountains and hills, pleasant place for
learning and a gate way for Karnataka, more than 15 Districts should
pass through Tumkur to reach Capital city Bangalore.

This city is alsofamous for holy palces like Nijgal ke pahad ki Dargah and Jali ka
Makan

How to reach Tumkur : Tumkur has good networks of rail and road. The
city is situated on the National Highway No.4 and hence buses ply
regularly to Tumkur from different parts of the state and neighboring
states. The City is on the broad gauge train route from Bangalore to
Shimoga and Hubli via Kadur.

I have visited all the above-mentioned famous Dargahs many times with
the help of my dearest friend, Marhoom Janab Amjad Pasha Saheb
Bangalori whose grand father was from Tumkur. He was a great Ashique
of Auliyas and also a brilliant Bullet Mechanic in whole Bangalore.
Sadly, due to kidney failure, he left this world very earlier. Yet,
during critical conditions of his last days, he used to request his
family members to take him in order to perform Ziyarat of Hazrath
Khwaja Lalu Bbhai Qasir Chisty (RA) in M.R Pallaya, Bangalore and they
always fulfilled his request regardless of times and days. To attend
the burial ceremony of Amjad Saheb, his elder brother came from Saudi
and went back with sadness.

After that, the family met another tragedy that the elder brother of Amjad Saheb passed away and was buried in Saudi itself before Chelam (40 days of Amjad saheb's death). They came up from poverty but they had great love and respect for people regardless of their ages. My humble request for you is to make Dhuas
for the Maqfirat of these great Ashiq-e-Auliyas as well as for their
Buland Jarjats.

The most sacred and famous dargah in kesarmadu in tumkur is hazrat
momin badeshah qadri (RA). This is the biggest dargah of Tumkur
because he is the direct descendent of hazrat mehboob subhani hazrat
sheik abdul qader jillani ( rizwan allahi thaalahi alaihim ajmaeen ).
Also there is no roof for this mazar e shareefs. These mazar e shareef are in open sky.

Also besides the mazar shareef of hazrat momin badeshah qadri (RA) a
few distance from this mazar shareef you will find 2 more mazar e
shareefs in which one is of hazrat momin badeshah qadri's (RA) elder
son and his wife which are also in the open roof in kesarmadu.

May ALLAHU Rabbul Issath bestow all their family members with peace,
healthier life and prosperity. Ameen. Ya Rabbil Alameen.

Thanks & Regards,

Khaleel Ahmed Irfani urf Afzal Ahmed
Khadim of Dargah-e-Hazrath Khwaja Lalu Bhai Qasir Chisty (RA)
[Khwaja-e-Bangalore ] and Astana-e-Irfani, Hyderabad.
