This Dargah shareef of Hazrath Syedina Jahangir Shah Valli (RA) is more than 900 years old. He is one of the greatest Valli Allah who achieved superior heights in Wilayath and during the reign of Hazrath Syedina Jahangir Shah Valli (RA), there were very less Auliyas in India, narrated by Hazrath Khwaja Mehboob Ali Shah Chisty Al-Ma'roof (RA) urf Hazrath Khwaja Lalu Bhai Qasir Chisty (RA) (Khwaja-e-Bangalore).

Mazar Shareef Hazrat Jahangir Shah Valli Allah

Once upon a time, Hazrath Khwaja Lalu Bhai Qasir Chisty (RA) along with his beloved companions went to perform Ziyarath of Hazrath Syedina Jahangir Shah Valli (RA). Prior to reaching the Dargah shareef, it was late at night in Chickballapur and they wanted to spend that night in a Masjid but Mutthavalli of the Masjid didn't allow them to stay though they had come from long distance. Finally, Hazrath Khwaja Lalu Bhai Qasir Chisty (RA) decided to go to Dargah shareef in nandi and spend night-time there.

When Hazrath Khwaja Lalu Bhai Qasir Chisty (RA) arrived at Dargah-e-Hazrath Syedina Jahangir Shah Valli (RA) along with his two companions, they hadn't had their dinner and were hungry. Astonishingly, all of them witnessed a great karamath (miracles) there that a food plate came down from sky with rays of light in order for them to dine. After the incident, Hazrath Syedina Jahangir Shah Valli (RA) invited Hazrath Khwaja Lalu Bhai Qasir Chisty (RA) inside the Dargah shareef and both of these auliyas had a long discussion during the night. Prior to the discussion, Hazrath Khwaja Lalu Bhai Qasir Chisty (RA) instructed his companions not to come inside the Dargah Shareef but to stay out and asked them to quench their hungry with that food which had come from the sky and leave the food plates as it is after eating. The discussion between these two great Auliyas inside the Dargah Shareef went on for a long time and in the end, Hazrath Khwaja lalu Bhai Qasir (RA) was blessed with Roohan-i-Faiz from there.

This Dargah shareef of Hazrath Syedina Jahangir Shah Valli (RA) was attacked twice by some disbelievers but in both the incidents; they lost their eyes, suffered bloody vomiting and died on the spot itself, SubhanALLAH. This great karamath was witnessed by both Nandi village and Chickballapur residents. Thus, the Dargah shareef holds the legendary of Hazrath Syedina Jahangir Shah Valli (RA) even today. In addition, it is visited by large number of people from different faiths and solves problems they experience in their day-to-day life. It is observed that people from different religions have great love, adhab and respect for Hazrath Syedina Jahangir Shah Valli (RA). Moreover, some known travel / tour agents who take people to Ziyarats of AuliyaAllahs in these areas visit this great Darbar shareef.

In the recent past, some Ashiqeens and Khadims of Hazrath Syedina Jahangir Shah Valli (RA) have laid marble granites in the Dargah Shareef and constructed the Dargah to give a newer view.

The Chatti Shareef in this Dargah Shareef is celebrated in a grand manner here in nandi every month. Beloved Ashiqeens of Hazrath Syedina Jahangir Shah Valli (RA), who come for Chatti Shareef Fateha also stay at late night in order to participate in Zikr / Moulud Masjils which is conducted after Chatti shareef fateha.

The Dargah shareef is being taken care by the Muzawars who are descendants of Khadims who took care of the Dargah shareef in the past. Their families have been serving at this place for more than years and still follow their forefathers' way of caring for the Dargah shareef.

Hazrat Badateh peer (RA)

You can find the Mazar-e-Mubarak of Hazrath Badeteh Peer (RA) in the same compound where Hazrath Syedina Jahangir Shah Valli (RA) Dargah is situated. It is a great Karamath here that this Mazar-e-Mubarak had increased in length by itself. Thus, the name of the Mazar-e-Mubarak is called of "Badateh Peer". ( Badateh means increasing )

This Dargah shareef of Hazrath Syedina Jahangir Shah Valli (RA) plays a very vital role in entire Chickballapur and Nandi village and attracts people from different places. Islam shines here because of this great AuliyaAllah's karamaths (miracles) and Zahura.

About Nandi Hills: - Nandi Hills, is a most famous hill fortress of southern India, in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka state. It is located just 3 to 5 KM from Chickballapur Taluk. It is 4851 ft. (1478 meters) above sea level. Bus Services to Chikballapur: - There are numerous State Government and Private Buses run to Chickballapur from Bangalore and vice versa. From Chickballapur, one has to catch Autos or Taxis to reach out Nandi village and can find the Dargah shareef in the check post of Nandi village.
