Hazratha Mastani Maa (RA) is a very famous Women
Sufi in Bangalore.
The
Two Famous Women Sufis in Bangalore are Hazratha Sayedani
Bi Bi (RA) in City Market and Hazratha Mastaani Maa
(RA) in Tannery Road. Both are Prominent Sufis and both
the dargahs are very famous.
Mastani
Maa (RA) came and settled in Bangalore. She was a Majzoob
Sufi and noted for many miracles. Mastani Maa (RA) had
big iron rings in the hand and legs which was from her
tareeq. Many people use to take blessing from this great
elderly Sufi Women and she use to bless and love people
who use to give respect to her.
She
use to never sleep in the nights and was always in Zikr
status many a times.
People use to see many Miracles of Mastani Maa (RA).
Some people who love her use to sit with her and spent
their time, a few people and some children sat one night
and they didn't had food and stayed with Mastani Maa
(RA) , she was in Zikr status in the night and told
the people go to their houses but they like to spent
that night. With her. Mastani Maa came to knew that
they didn't had food and the people were hungry. There
was a empty vessel lying Mastanai Maa told some people
to keep some bricks and keep the vessel for cooking,
there were no rice and nothing to prepare the food in
such a dark night, she put fire to sticks below the
vessel and told people to put all trees leaves which
were lying down the ground, then the vessel was filled
with dry leaves, mud, stones etc. and she put some water
and instructed all to have dinner and not to disclose
the matter to anyone.
All the people saw the vessel was full of fried rice
and the rice were very tastely and all were surprise
to see this miracle from this great personality.
Even
many auliyas reported regarding Mastani Maa (RA) that
she was a Majzoob sufi women.
Hazrath
Khwaja Qaseer Chisty (RA) ( Khalifa-e-Khwaja-e-Bangalore
) had send some of his disciples to attend the funeral
and report about the face of Mastani Maa after her Wisal.
The disciples of Hazrath Khwaja Qaseer Chisty (RA) reported
that Mastani Maa's (RA) face was yellow after the wisal,
then Khwaja said she was a great sufi and achieved good
status in wilayat.
The
dargah Shareef of Mastani Maa is the centre of many areas and
this is the only dargah in the entire area which attracts people
from many surrounding areas like Tannery Road, D.H Halli, Jeevanahalli,
Muslim Colony, Arabic College, Frazer town etc.
The Urs e shareef is celebrated in a grand manner every year.
